Vertical Scratchers is John Schmersal (ex-Brainiac/Enon, live Caribou, and Crooks on Tape) and Christian Beaulieu (ex-Triclops!/Anywhere). a persistent elements you will hear throughout the record is the percussive nature in which the guitars were played and recorded.
