France's Papooz is about to release a new single and video, 'None of This Matters Now', third release since their debut U.S. tour in early 2020 saw them play to sold-out venues, just ahead of the global C-19 lockdown. And two years after the release of their second album, 'Night Sketches', which drew them widespread critics' tips and airplay at 6Music, alongside a sold-out London headline. None of This Matters Now (album) was recorded LIVE in an old farm in the South West of France. An album with folk-rock sounds, mainly influenced by the music scene that appeared in Laurel Canyon during the 70s (Crosby, Still & Nash, Neil Young, Gram Parson, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan) and which addressed subjects as varied as global warming, love breakup, loss of the feeling of grace, suicide, laziness and death. « We wanted to have a more acoustic feel on this album, making it sound timeless »
