Morning Reign - Taking Cover (Blue Vinyl)

Limited blue colored vinyl LP pressing. Unsung heroes Morning Reign combined the butt-shaking rumble of their '60s PNW brethren with sophisticated songwriting chops, a big bag of influences from folk to soul, and the sweetest four-part vocal harmonies east of San Francisco. A downpour of originals hold their own alongside Motown, pop, and& blues covers, almost all of which are previously unissued! Taking Cover tells the parts of the story that were secret for 50-plus years. Along the way, it captures the spirit of Morning Reign and the sound that kept them trekking to what lead singer Ric Seaberg describes as ""every VFW Hall and Odd Fellows Hall from Salem, Oregon to Seattle, "" when they weren't busy opening up for some of the biggest bands of the '60s.
