Bob Dylan's ninth studio album was recorded in Nashville over 10 days in February 1969, with a group of local session musicians, and released just two months later. It contains one of his most beloved and successful songs in ""Lay Lady Lay"" as well as a duet with Johnny Cash on a new version of the early Dylan classic ""Girl From The North Country"". Other singles from the album include ""I Threw It All Away"" and ""Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You"". This release brings the album back in print in vinyl in it's original stereo version.

Ninth studio album by the American singer-songwriter, originally released in 1969. Building on the rustic style he experimented with on 'John Wesley Harding' (1967), 'Nashville Skyline' displayed a complete immersion into country music. Along with the more basic lyrical themes, simple songwriting structures, and charming domestic feel, it introduced audiences to a radically new singing voice from Dylan, who had temporarily quit smoking - a soft, affected country croon.
