ALIVE BY THE SEASIDE This compulation album aims to provide a celebration of a period of time that feels special - the Brighton live music scene in 2023. Goo Records is very much a by-product of the flourishing creativity we found ourselves becoming immersed in at heralded Brighton venues like the Albert, the Green Door Store and the Hope & Ruin. It's been a real joy to watch such a diverse range of bands growing and thriving around the city - many of them close friends with each otehr or even playing in each other's bands. So before things change - they move to London, they sign to big labels, they head off to tour the world - we decided to capture what we've been seeing this year.
