Thee Deception - We The People

Thee Deception, a forceful voice in punk from the Great Pacific Northwest, has emerged as a prominent band challenging norms and igniting change. Featuring original Green River member Alex Shumway (guitar), Samuel Bligh (vocals), Cody Davis (guitar), Dave Place (bass), and Regan Hagar (drums)—a name synonymous with Seattle drumming at its hard-hitting best and a founding member of Malfunkshun, Satchel, and Brad—the band combines political fervor with a distinctive punk sound. Vocalist Samuel Bligh shares that their track “Influencer” is a “commentary on how social media is de-evolving the minds of the youth into robots.
