MM..FOOD is the record where MF DOOM turned the buffet into a battle rap. Cut in 2004 as Daniel Dumile leaned all the way into the metal-faced villain, it smuggles some of his sharpest writing onto a dinner menu: ego, industry snakes, and street myth all plated up as combo meals. "Rapp Snitch Knishes," "Hoe Cakes," "One Beer," "Beef Rapp," the puns are the point, and the dusty, sample-warm loops underneath them are DOOM at his most quietly brilliant.

This 20th Anniversary edition stretches the album across two LPs in a tip-on gatefold jacket, giving the skits and collage interludes the room they were built for. One for the crate diggers who already know every ad-lib, and for anyone finally getting behind the mask.
