Sewing the seeds planted by a previous collaboration, Donny McCaslin (3x Grammy-nominated saxophonist) and Ryan Dahle (Limblifter, Mounties) reunite for a full-length collaborative effort under the McCaslin-Dahle moniker. Entitled MXD, the album is a set of 9 sprawling epics adorned with bubbling electronica synths, McCaslin's celestial saxophone, and Dahle's singular vocals.
