This album features a selection of tracks from Hothouse Flowers' 2 Meter Sessions, recorded between 1993 and 2019. It includes songs from their 1988 debut album People, the fan favorite An Emotional Time, and their acclaimed cover of I Can See Clearly Now. Hothouse Flowers are an Irish band known for their unique fusion of traditional Irish music, soul, gospel, and rock. Formed in Dublin in 1985 by street performers Liam Ó Maonlaí and Fiachna Ó Braonáin, they quickly rose to prominence. Their 1988 debut album, People, became Ireland's best-selling debut, topping the charts at home and reaching No. 2 in the UK. After a hiatus in 1994, they reunited in 1998 and continue to tour and release music to this day.
