It took nearly the whole year, with sessions in different places, but most of it was tracked, recorded, and engineered in Ocean City, New Jersey during the winter-just four blocks from the beach, surrounded by snow and cold. That atmosphere ended up shaping the mood of the songs perfectly... so close yet so far.
